Our Process
As custom home builders in Tyler, Texas, we listen to your desires and dreams for your new home; your financial goals and price range consideration and your desires for the ideal location for your family. From there we set about to work with you to find the right home site and design the home of your dreams that stays within your budget.
We listen to how you want your home finished out and what style you are dreaming of. We have informative meetings to show you the planning and design steps and generally what you can expect when building your new home or commercial building.
We send the home site survey to the architect or designer prior to the original design meeting so your home is designed to the lot. During the first architectural meeting you are able to provide verbal descriptions and pictures so we can understand the vision you have for the new space. From there the process moves through architecture drawings and revisions until the official blue print is produced. When the blue print is ready the bid process begins and the budget is set while the specifications are being finalized.
Your package is then delivered to the lender and the home is appraised. Once the lender approves the construction loan, we begin the construction of your home. This normally takes about 60-90 days from the first architectural meeting.
Next will be a series of meetings with a designer, local vendors and suppliers for your elegant custom selections.
As the construction unfolds our skilled craftsman work to ensure your home is finished to very high standards. You will be asked to attend on site meetings to make decisions regarding where you want certain things. Your selections are always made prior to the construction event so the home keeps moving. Once your home is finished we have an instructional meeting to show you the components of the home. After you close and within 60 days after you move in we have our final meeting for any minor flaws that might need to be taken care of. We like giving you time to experience your home for 60 days before we come back for that last time.
